Hi

I think the Waypoint setting is to unexactly sometimes.

1. Sometimes you can't fly a route which is lower than 20 LY
because only the name of the own warplanet shows up.
If I set a waypoint and I don't like to fly anywhere this
goes on my nerves

2. It is unexactly because every click in a 10-20 LY radius to
one thing(WP,SS, etc) only leads to that thing(WP,SS,etc)
and not to the open space.

Warplanet of: (Myself)

Delete Waypoint

Open space
XPos: +-XXX
YPos: +-XXX

Set waypoint

because you can't fly on your own warplanet. So there should be
"delete waypoint" if i want to stay in open space.
Better then nothing Ii think

It would be good if I select a Solarsystem by clicking 10LY away of it that open space is available as well.

1. A link to stop your WP at it's current position is on the ToDo list (AFIK). But there are a lot of other things too, so don't expect it in the near future.

2. I don't see a need for staying in open space. In the beginning of the german Kosmor the star capture algorithm was very strict, resulting in problems to really get the target. That was changed to the ~10 LY range we have now and it's fine this way.

Yes you're right.
I've expected a post like that.

To delete the set waypoint could be very helpful.
e.g. Like Fortune2006 with his Jumpdrive. Therefore it would be helpful.
But he choose a good way i think. Like he said in his post.
Where can I find a thread with de TO DO LIST? If it exists. in .de?

In the beginning Maelstroem posted some ToDo lists.

http://www.kosmor.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=563
http://www.kosmor.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=229

But these ones are outdated now. So the only list are the little yellow notes anywhere on Maelstroems desk. Smile
