Todays game patch fixes the known jumpdrive problems:
* after a jump, the warplanet cannot be engaged in battle, even if it jumps close to an enemy warplanet which intercepts it.
* when directly jumping onto an enemy star system, no "retreat" is triggered.
* if a jump fails (when no course was set), the jumpdrive is immediately available again in the next game turn.
