Greets-

Anyway, I think this would both add a more stratigic element to the game, make it a bit more.. "fair", and would be fairly simple to implement.

It could be made so that, in a battle, a ships hit probability would differ, depending on what ship it was fighting (and what ship it itself was).

So, larger ships would here, have lower hit probabilities, and smaller ships greater ones.

Houever, a large ship of class "x", fighting another ship of class "x", would have the same hit probability as ship of class "y", fighting a ship of class "y". (hope that made sence).

Anyhow, the normal hit rate would be used, when, as said above, two ships of the same class fought eachover. When a smaller ship fought a larger ship, its hit probabilty would go up, and the larger ships, down.

So, example:

The greatest hit probability possible would be wheras a H1 fired on an H11, and the lowest when a H11 fired on a H1.

The probability of a H1 hitting another H1, would be equal to that of an H11 firing on another H11, or any other class of ship firing on the same class. (sry if ive said that 3 times alredy).

This would increase the value of smaller ships, and depending on the accuracy increase (which I will leave to those who implement this (hopefuly), would make quite a diffrence.

Note: I would say this should either not apply to planets or war planets, or there hull should be regarded as higher in these calculations-

Pretty good idea. Makes the H1's more than cannonfodder for the larger ships.

New Suggestion

Can you make an actual list that we can view? That would be nice so that suggestions are made twice, and just so we have a better idea of whats coming-

I know, I read that, which is why I am now asking if they could make a list Wink

Wouldent have to be exact or anything, but it just be nice to know what "ideas" we had coming up sooner or later...

All that I have heard so far on the 'list':
-ship accuracy
-fleets
-map sharing
-ability to stop your WP at your current position

I searched for it only on .com, because I don't know German, so there might be a few more that weren't announced.

Some more ideas maelstroem is probably thinking of (from .de)

- specializations (fighting, travelling, industry...)
- balancing big ships <-> small ships (accuracy, jump-range, upkeep, construction-costs...)
- faster travelling (jump Gates, travel-guilds...)
- fogs (dont know what this will do)
- Kosmor regions (dont know...)

It seems he will have more time to do this improvements in future.
