I reckon a tournament would be a great thing - there is a long weekend in october here first monday public holiday

would give the aussies a good thing to do ( better than cricket)

perhaps we could try out the fleet rule there?

5 weeks away

what does the boss think

could it be free to play

with all pro rules
so the non pros can try before they buy

or all non pro so the big boys get to feel small again

i can just feel the excitement of taking on blanka or walker at the beginning of a game

cheers
Steve

you cna register me now to play if you like

would it be 1 hour or 1/2 hour turns?

The turn will be most likely 10 Minutes, and 2-3 "break turns" with 30 Minutes or so, depending on the overall length and the starting time.

The registration begins as usual at 9.15, the first turn begins at 10.00.

First Turn: 10.00
In the mornings: 10 minute turn (18 turns)
Noon turn: 13.00 - 13.48 (extended)
Afternoon: 12 minute turn (16 turns)
Earl-Grey turn: 17.00 - 17.30 (extended)
Finishing turns: 10 minute turn (15 turns)
Last turn: 19.50 - 20.00

Makes 49 turns in 10 hours. This is an example how the turns can be, its translated from the briefing of the second (german) tournament. Every tournament had different times, and a international tournament is even more complicate.[/quote]

I don't think there will be another one this year.

But perhaps.. a silvester tournament, ending at new year with a great battle - why not? Twisted Evil
