I am currently approaching a planet with this name: Gurranganhurria
That would make:
-15 letters
-6 (or 5) syllables, depending on how you pronouce the final dipthong.
What other ridiculously long planet names have you seen?
Current Record Holders (as of 324/3502):
(name-discoverer-letters-syllables)
1. Tibunaganhurria-Giner-15-7
2. Gurranganhurria-Locutus-15-6
2. Nyrdahganhurria-Black Skull-15-6
2. Warrnoganhurria-Black Skull-15-6

15 letters i believe are the max. I know from two other planets with a such long name :
Warrnoganhurria
Nyrdahganhurria
How you see - this "hurria" Planets are all very long. |

That's very interesting. I believe that this may be the longest possible combination for the strings.
If anyone finds a planet with more than 15 letters, then please post it here! |

Finally, we find a planet that has more than 6 syllables and 15 letters! Congrats to Giner!
I am sure the people of that planet have a very complicated and interesting language, and that half of the population does not speak the language correctly. |
