Argentine: they are also possible to make it.

I think the oldest player of the Argentine team is 19 years old and for nearly all of them it's the first match against teams, who are not from South America. I don't think they have a chance. Maybe they will lose their group behind Serbia Laughing
(it is called "Serbia&Montenegro" but know they are split up into two countries - so who of them is playing?^^ Or are they still one team?)

I dont know, but perhaps it is a similar situation to the UK. We are the United Kingdom, but play most sports as the individual countries of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

An interesting thought on this: Does anyone know if the littel islands in the UK also have their own team, or do they join come under one of the mainland teams? I mean, places like Gurnsey and Jersey, and the Isle of Man, can u imagine their team? lol

Do those isles not belong to the mainland?

Funny, that the United States play as one team together. Is their "Union" stronger than that of UK? Laughing

I heared Rooney will possibly be ok for the quarter final...

Lehmann is a very good keeper. He is not as good as Kahn in 2002, but I think the germans can be happy to have him defending their goal.

I hope Lehmann gets at least 20 goals. I believe that it's the defense of Arsenal that made him look so good, but in fact - with the bad German defense - he is not good. Did you see the game with Japan?
