we are slowly slipping out of the area of AustrianAlliance. we had a clear flight without any disturbances. the first outposts of kesh are visible on our long range radar.
our course looks as smooth as expected.

distance to center: 573.04ly
approximate distance to edge: very far

We warmly welcome you as a friend and as a member of our neighbours from Reacor. Please tell us if there is something we can do to help you on your mission.

I have heard correspondence from my dear friend Mr Black, that he would like a cup of tea...
... maybe he should have asked when he saw HIM... ?

we have received some sub-ether messages from our readers and friends of science and we will take the time to react on some of these:

mr. mike: thanks for your hospitality. we enjoyed the flight through your territory.
mr. aurion: thanks for your warm welcome.
mr. tumor, mr. carboneater, mr. thrawn, mr. nikoy, mr. claudio, lady neireh: thanks for your wishes. we need every ounce of luck on this far journey.
mr. bravo: i'm sad to say but i'm not a tea drinker. i prefer drinking coffee. hot and black.

as our course is too smooth now, we will have to make a little navigational correction which will bring us directly on the y-axis.

distance to center: 696.92ly
approximate distance to edge: very far indeed

today we had a planet from our mother house reacor on the screens and we are by fact not that far away from our home as one may would think.
the rest of the planets on screen are inhabited by kesh which means no interference in any way. chilling flight that is. our course is now directly on the y-axis as our navigational engineer did some additional hours in his cubicle.

distance to center: -1056.0ly
approximate distance to edge: who cares

Lod Thrawn would like to thank Lord HotBlack from our allied nations for his notification of our best wishes.

On a note of science, our most esteemed philosophers would be most keen to know how one can be a negative distance from a point, distance being linear.
This should not have been conveyed, however, it is a major cause of theological dispute back in the bases of Kicor and Aboraoxel

dear mr. thrawn, as we do not have a full employed philsopher with us, we can only give you an answer from our navigational officer assistance and part-time-philosopher mr. zem: "as time and space are relatives, distances are by definition relative and not absolute. bending this relation is absolutely a relative complex task which takes a relativ amount of absolute energy. this causes fluktuations in the absolute time-space continuum with a relative high propability. and has absolutely nothing to do with my relatives."
we hope this answers some of your questions.

yesterday the first outpost of noldor-keks was on our screens and today we are almost surrounded be their systems. looks like we left the area of Kesh.
another good news we have. the internal navigation which is based on an alternative coordination system tells us that we are about 900 lightyears from the edge of the universe. that would mean the we would reach the end of our journey in about 15days. quite a short trip, that is.

distance to center: 1536ly
unconfirmed distance to edge: 915ly

Dear traveler!

I don't know, where your informations are based on, but I believe, that you have much more LY infront of you, until you reach the edge.
As I trust in the allegation, that 0/0 is the center of the universe, the universe has to contain about the same distances to both edges east and west.
I see many close planets on x-pos 3800! And it doesn't seem like the end of the universe. I think it is still part of the galaxy-core!
But you will see and I'm interested in your reports!

I wish you still a good journey!

First, let me assure you that you are still in the territoy of Kesh, and thus still under our protection.

Secondly, i can not confirm your informations about the edge of the universe. You will have to travel a lot more just to leave the territory of Kesh. If you look for detailed information please feel free to contact me or blanka.

"I know that in some parallel universe, it is true, that the north/south components of the edge on the x=0 line are located at around +/- 2400 LY, however, in the same parallel universe, the horizontal extremities are in the region of +/- 7000 LY.

So I hope you endevour to continue your trip, and i wish you the best of experiences."

"And now, sir?"

"Yes... that will do, send it at once, the message will take some time to arrive all that way!"

the last days we traveled on autopilot and we had no chance to put the news to this channel. but we are on track we left the area of noldor-keks and are right now in the area of the Scumdogs of Agnari. we found a small planet which lies directly on the y-axis an we will create an outpost there.
we had some issues with our navigational calculations. it seems that here are some unexpected relativistic side effects. for every 60 lightyears we travel we only move 3 lightyears on our coordination system. questions that can only be answered by the keeper of the tea.

distance to center: 2316ly
distance to edge: all of the above

as a picture is worth a thousand words the administration of the DisasterArea is proud that we can present you navigation maps of our journey. our previously sent messages will be updated with the corresponding data.

It seems like you messed up some things. You added one map twice, instead of two maps once. And why didn't you add more maps corresponding with your other messages? I'm sure a great scientist like you has more to cause rapture.
