Ok, well, a come-back on certain points I think it've been developped a bit more:
1. The Escape pod. This could be used as when the ships is near destruction, the pilot ejects. On WP, or sWP, there's some ships built but whitout any personel inside. That way, the saved population can be replaced on ships.
So, you must build two other components when building a ship: the life pod, and some small ships (H1-like) to collect all the life pods ejected in the battle. Those pods can be destroyed. Pods collectors too.
2. Reputation on ships. This acts a bit like morale, and maybe affects a bit morale. Reputation is a characteristic that ships who survived many battles gain, with a bonus on every ennemy ship destroyed. Maybe just add the reputation characteristic to Xp.
Reputation is only a modifier on OTHER ships. This means that on ennemy ships, facing a ship with higher reputation is a bit depressing if morale is low, and encouraging if morale is high. On the own WP, the ship is a morale boost.
To simplify the formulas, only one ship's rep will be used(he one with the most Rep, selected on auto at the beggining of the fight, and do not change while in the fight). This ship will be called the Flagshig. In the combat option, in the ship menu, a new option: attack flagship. When the Flagship is destroyed, all friendly ships loses morale points, and all ennemies gain morale points. |
