Here I represent my "integration graph", which possibly implicate
who's the bully boy and who's cruisin' for bruisin'

Graph is interpreted as follows. Nodes are players. and
edge(x -> y) means x integrated y to his empire.

In the graph are active players, who had fights leading to integration in the time range 6/3500 - 60/3502

and

The destroyed combat power was at least 140 cp.

and

The players were in the forums memberlist 61/3502

EDIT: Inactive players who were deleted without retire proclamation
are now removed correctly from the graph. This allowed to loosen the condition about combat power.

The bigger (taller) the player node, the more cp was destroyed in counted fights.

The information was retrieved from The Galactic News.

I've replaced the picture by a link to it. In my eyes it's too big for the forum.

That's a lot of information. Did you use a program or do everything by hand?

Mostly it was programming.

1. I made scripts in Python to fetch post directory from the galactic news forum.
2. Then Emacs macros and command line processing
3. Fetched each news item to own ,html file (total ~20MB)
4. Cropped it to only relevant information (total ~2MB)
5. Analyzed catenated 'megahistory' with custom script and created a ,graphml file.
6. Fiddled it with Yed (graph editor), finished with Gimp.

After first post i discovered a bug involving deleted players (the graph in post is fixed from that bug now). When a player account gets deleted due to inactivity, it does not get into the news. So I added two steps more.

- fetch a bulletin board memberlist
- make sure every displayed playernode is also in the memberlist.

whoa i made the list Shocked but does it show me as a 'bully' or 'cruisin' is what i want to know (to make it easier on you all arrows are pointing to me)

Bucan is the biggest bully in the galaxy from the chart. The most powerful players in the galaxy do not look very large on here, except for Chrysander, whose node is pretty tall.

Well, it doesn't tell how much combat power a player did destroy without getting the last hit and integrating someone, but thats some thing you can not change, so its okay.

Seems like i do not have much luck with bigger fights, i never get the final shot Smile

If you build more ships, the probabiltiy for you to have the last shot is bigger Wink

But why are there only players mentioned with a lost combat power of over 140?

It's not the point that i do not have enough ships. Of course, more are always good, but most times it was just some bad luck with the combat order .)

I also wonder why 140 cp. Of course, its more significant if there was some cp destroyed in a fight, but why 140?
