I don't remember how I found Kosmor, but that really doesn't matter. I have a tried dozens, if not hundreds of different on-line games, following banner ads, forum post links, top lists, and so on. Usually I grow bored quickly. Most of these games are but minor variations of eachother, most of them suck.
Kosmor... doesn't suck. At all. So I stay, adding my own unique obnoxious touch to its universe.
Things I like about Kosmor:- I get to sleep. Sleep is nice.
- There are no resets. Making the game reset is the cheap way to correct a bad game design. Kosmor doesn't need them.
- There is a real geography. I have a small number of neighbours that know who and what I am. (In the beginning, I disliked this because I started inside Kesh. I had in effect one, very big neighbour to relate to. That wasn't very fun. Fortunately, Kesh fragmented)
- Big players doesn't totally dominate small ones. There are several reasons for this:
- The war planet. A big player can have a gazillion H11s, but they still can't do very much with them away from the war planet.
- The Star Redistribution Tax. This is the only game I know where a small player doesn't have to worry about money, but a big player does.
- The vassal(sub/super) system. Getting conquered sucks, but doesn't totally ruin you. And afterwards you are part of the conquerers house which can be nice.
I could add to this list, but dinner calls.
All these things I have seen in other games too, but never all put together as well as here. I know I'm staying. I have never paid for an on-line game, but if I started, I would start with Kosmor. Not just for the benefits, but because they deserve it. |

i searched for space strategy games and out of the maelstrom (haha) i found kosmor... i dunno what is was...whether i was ticked off with the game i was playing at the time which was taking up around 16 hours of my day checking it to make sure my team wasn't getting hammered (often involving being up til 2-3 a.m.) or just looking for something refreshing i was hooked
I was fortunate that i became a part of xilento's house who helped me significantly and then that was integrated into black star which is a great house to be in.. very supportive house. The fact you can log in at your leisure is a luxury i was unused to at the time... when i first began i did kind of feel at a massive disadvantage being a non-pro but that soon sorted itself out once payday came around
Its just cool i suppose aint gonna be leavin for awhile put it that way |

i was bored, and was going through google looking for a game.
i found this, and within a matter of months my account was trashed because of a war between players ShadowMaster and RobinHood. (is this what ripping means?)
however, i was so intrested by the sheer level at which this game is played, that i joined up again a month later, then spent 5 months travelling back to my old area, learning that my old freind had joined with Agnar
about a month ago, i found the forums |

I joined the game because of Jay he pestered me for abit saying come on go on it and so on. So i tried it and couldn't really get the hang of it, I started out under Oneill but he quit soon after so i was alone until the "Great One" Nikoy came along with the offer of joining the New_Order_Of_Templar so i did still didn't know what i was doing but then Nikoy showed me ways of playing i wouldn't have thought of myself and here i am today annoying nearly everyone who listens to me. But now i have myself a little empire and Pro-User under my belt and ready to rock!
Thanks Maeli for the best free and payable online game ever, it is worth every penny.

I joined because I was looking for a free MMORPG and i found a site that had kosmor on it. I played for a while and was under Chrysander. But after Acidstar's fusion with kesh I got bored and rebelled! Soon after that I quit. But when I got the internet back at my house I started again! And I'd like to thank you for reading my life story |

well noodle first showed me this game about a year ago now, just under i think. i have 90 days left on my pro user so just under. in turn me and noodlke introduced chips108, jamie, and a few others. out of all the online games i play and have played kosmor is the best. i like travian as it has something to do constantly but that getts annoying. i like not having to check my kosmor account ever hour or so to see if iv been attacked its great and i can sleep lol. the server starting time is perfect for me too. as i can go on this at school. |

Do you know the word starting with P and ending with roxy? And besides: You should be learning in school, not playing |

Well, as you can see, I am back after leaving, and I joined again because I liked it the first time and wanted to join again. The reason I left was because I went on holiday, and the person who said would look after my account didn't.
