When you are conquered, and lose 25% of your stock...

for all cases assume that the planets are not amongst the 25% lost to the conquerer

if you have just 40 S12 all on 1 planet, you would lose 10 S12 from that planet (40 / 4)

if you have just 42 S12 all on 1 planet, you would lose 10 S12 from that planet math.floor(40/4)

if you have 1 H11, you would lose 0 [math.floor(1/4)]
if you have 10 H11 on the same planet, you will lose 2 [math.floor(10/4)]

...

if you have 10 H11, on 10 different planets... do you lose 2 [math.floor(10/4)] taken from random planets, or 10 x [math.floor(1/4)] = 0 ?

ie, is it calculated as 1/4 of the total number round down, then distributed across planets, or is it 1/4 for each planet, rounding down at each planet?

nB: H11 = hull level 11, not a leviathan ship

Interesting suggestion:

well, I don't know the answer Smile

BUT, i have some other relating ideas....

What about the stocks on planets you lose by the 25%-rule?

They are transferred to the conquerer, yes.

But are they counted to the total amount or not? Do I lose 25% just from the planets I own after the combat oder do I lose the 25% from the complete stock that I had before?

Smeone knows?

Ok coming from someone that has been integrated alot.....this is my take, I am not sure if I completely understand your question claudio, your loose 25% of your total stock on planets as of the day you get integrated. So if you know you are going to be integrated send all of your stock(the day before you get conquered) to another one of your planets and you loose nothing as long as the planet that you send will still be yours of course. It is always rounded down so alphabravo all of your math figures were correct.

Now Claudio you do pose a very good strategy I can simply say I am not sure about the 25% loss of stock calculations before or after your loose 25% of your planets.

Do you keep stock in transit to another planet? What about stuff bought from the marketplace on that turn?

If so, all you'd have to do to avoid stock being taken is to send it to a planet more than 150 ly away.

exactly! Cool

any responsible imperator should also save his/her money by investing it into a mission the day before you are conquered!
when the mission time expires the credits will be refunded. preferably this should be a 'mission impossible'. Wink

no, yes

it's a trick that's been used by many

save credits by setting a defense mission
save stock by sending to one of your planets that you know you wont lose

but claudio's question i have no idea about the answer to that

Game processor order

1) Star trade
2) Shipment
3) Market trade
4) Star taxation
5) Subordinate taxation
6) Upkeep payment (mines, factories, shipyards, ships)
7) Raw material production (mines)
8) Shipment of standing orders
9) Population growth
10) Ship movement (move and fight)
11) Warplanet movement (move and fight)

12) Declarations of Independence
13) Mission checking
14) Ship assembly
15) Recalculate statistics
16) Rebuild forum
17) Send game processor messages
although this doesnt answer all the problems, it probably shows that stuff traded on the marketplace happens before the 25% is take (in the ship or warplanet phase), also that shipments (standing orders or not) are also before the 25%

what it doesnt show is whether the 25% planets is calced befroe the 25% stock

Currently the 25% are caluclated for every planet. If there are less then 4 pieces of any good on a planet, nothing is transferred to the conqueror.
