Idea:
Ok, when in a battle, after a ship had had its shields (all of em) destroyed, it would not be able to fire the next round.
So, basicly, total destruction of shields, would require a round of "idleness" (for the ship in question), before it could fire again.
Note: In the rounds (Torpedo/Lazer/Lazer, and so forth), you would not be skiping a round, but delaying it.
This would help because it would add a further element of strategy. |

Useless with the current aiming settings. There are max. 2 ships where this could apply. |

also, ships dont need shields to fire...a ships could always get that (movie style) last shot off before being destroyed itself... |
