I know, but why not?
@Aurion: Ok, lets start. I think they are very hounorful. You could talk with them, they don't integrate everything they see,...
I can't say that about Hommel. |

They don't integrate everything they see? Merthos gave a reason for his attacks on Gil Galad: There were no relationships.
And for the attacks on Rheinlaender he said, there must be a reason and benefits for a treaty.
Both statements did not explain why he attacked. Only because there were no NAT...? If there are other reasons, why did he not mention them? Did he think, the one (if you think you can call it 'reason') is enough?
What do you want to blame Hommel for? That we canceled the NAT with Zamonien? That we gave you a bad reason? I think, attacking only because there was no NAT is a even worser reason.
And then you got shelter in Handuro only because the NAT was not detailed enough to prevent such cases.
Now, what do you want to accuse? |

1. There was no NAT
2. For me it looks like that exactly this was the main reason to attack us, that there was no NAT. Newbie arreas, lol, I can only laugh about this. |

Right, blanka. But why do I have to provide reasons except this one?
This is a stategic game and one goal is to conquer other players. Or what do you build all the ships for? I can only repeat: I'll respect all treaties, but if there is none you are a valid target.
But that does not mean that my fleet is diving through the galaxie attacking every target in range. The fleet we send to Gil was of about equal strenght and considering his jump drive it could have been an interesting match.
For the Rheinlaender "problem": We never send any bigger ships over there for an attack, only the local players had some fun. And if he can not resists players of equal or less power (he was their superordinate some time ago!), well, that's not my problem.
And for the treaty: I did not see any profit for us in a NAT. It was no risky border and the NAT would only free a quite small number of ships. On the other side it would have limited our growth in that area.
If we really wanted we could have conquered both targets a lot earlier and without any risk for our side.
And now let's talk about Hommel, attacking the small Zamonien with a fleet of 40.000 CP or so and with the jump drive. |
